ReadPop Terms of Use

Effective date: 7 September 2026

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Geo Systems Dev PTY LTD (“Geo Systems Dev”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) for your use of ReadPop (the “App”). If the user is under the age required to agree to these Terms, a parent or legal guardian must review and accept them and supervise the child’s use.

1. Acceptance and eligibility

By downloading, purchasing, or using ReadPop, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App. Parents and guardians are responsible for subscription decisions and for the child’s use of the App.

2. Educational service

ReadPop provides interactive educational books and related quizzes. Content is for general educational and entertainment purposes and is not a substitute for professional educational, medical, or other advice. We may add, revise, or remove content while preserving access required by applicable consumer law and store rules.

3. Licence and acceptable use

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use ReadPop on supported devices under these Terms and the applicable app-store rules. You must not:

• copy, sell, sublicense, publicly distribute, or commercially exploit the App or its book content except where law permits;
• reverse engineer, bypass access controls, interfere with security, or disrupt the App or content service except where law expressly permits;
• use the App unlawfully or infringe another person’s rights; or
• misrepresent ownership of ReadPop content or remove copyright or proprietary notices.

4. Subscriptions

ReadPop may offer auto-renewing subscriptions that unlock premium books. The purchase screen displays the subscription name, duration, content included, and the full localized renewal price before purchase.

• Payment is charged to the Apple App Store or Google Play account after purchase confirmation.
• A subscription automatically renews for the displayed period unless it is cancelled through the applicable store before renewal under that store’s rules.
• You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple App Store or Google Play subscription settings.
• Use Restore Purchases in ReadPop to restore eligible access associated with the store account.
• Trials, introductory offers, billing grace periods, refunds, and price-change consent are governed by the applicable store’s terms and local law.

Deleting ReadPop does not automatically cancel a subscription. No purchase should be made by a child without the permission and involvement of a parent or guardian.

5. Free and hosted content

Some books may be available without a subscription. ReadPop downloads its catalogue and artwork from our content service and caches material on the device. An internet connection is required for first access to material that has not already been downloaded. We may update the hosted catalogue and do not promise that every item will remain available indefinitely, subject to applicable law and paid access commitments.

6. Intellectual property

ReadPop, including its software, illustrations, text, branding, and original educational content, is owned by or licensed to Geo Systems Dev and is protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership to you.

7. Third-party services and store terms

ReadPop relies on Apple, Google, RevenueCat, and content-hosting providers. Their terms and policies may also apply. If you obtained the App from Apple, your use is also subject to Apple’s applicable Licensed Application End User License Agreement unless custom terms accepted through Apple apply.

8. Availability and updates

We aim to keep ReadPop reliable but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Store services, internet access, device compatibility, maintenance, or events outside our control may affect availability. Updates may be required for security, compatibility, policy compliance, or new content.

9. Consumer rights and liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies a guarantee, right, or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights under the Australian Consumer Law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ReadPop is otherwise provided on an “as available” basis, and our liability for loss that was not reasonably foreseeable or caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control is excluded. Where liability can lawfully be limited, it is limited to the remedies permitted by applicable law.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend access where reasonably necessary to address unlawful use, security threats, material breach, or legal requirements. You may stop using the App at any time. Sections concerning intellectual property, consumer rights, liability, and disputes survive termination where their nature requires it.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, without limiting mandatory rights you may have under the laws where you live. Courts with jurisdiction under applicable law may hear disputes.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to ReadPop, service providers, law, or store requirements. We will publish updated Terms here with a revised date and provide additional notice where required. If you do not agree to revised Terms, stop using the App and cancel any subscription through the relevant store.
